Integrated Management System

An Integrated Management System is an internal process and control framework designed to ensure an organisation remains compliant with internal regulations and external legislative and certification requirements. Such systems provide cohesive frameworks for an organisations operational processes, and help their management teams to deliver organisational objectives and respond to stakeholder needs whilst minimising risks and maximising resource utilisation.

Siemens Healthcare achieved certification against the BSi PAS 99 Integrated Management System specification during January 2012. This certification encompasses its formal Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental certifications against the international ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards. It also provides additional recognition of our approaches for managing risk.

PAS 99 certification demonstrates our effectiveness in meeting our responsibilities to our employees, customers, suppliers, investors and regulators and provides a solid foundation for success for all our stakeholders.
